WILD FLOWER

Wild Flower is a stunning exploration of family ties in the realm of mental illness. It is set on the breathtaking Scottish Coast and stars the equally breathtaking Kate Dickie.

This was a short film funded by Creative England's iShort's program, directed by Claire Molloy and previewed at Flatpack, Leigh, BFI London & Aesthetica Short Film festivals.

Filming in a remote beach location certainly had its challenges! Highlights included using a quad bike to pull the generator across the sand, a dark tunnel walkway as our only way in and out of the bay, and a sun burnt Gaffer! We believe the hard work was definitely worth it, and we certainly couldn't complain about seeing so much of the sun in that part of the world!!
